Psychologist - Tacoma, WA

STGi provides detention health care services including medical, dental, and behavioral health to individuals in custody within ICE detention facilities. We are seeking Psychologist candidates for full-time healthcare positions.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- A Doctoral Degree in Psychology from a graduate program accredited by the American Psychological Association.
- Current, full and unrestricted license at the Doctorial Level for the independent practice of Psychology in the state of Washington.
- Two years independent practice in Clinical, Counseling, or Health Psychology as a licensed psychologist.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers® certification through the American Heart Association®.
- Ability to pass a federal government security background check.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must be available to work 4 10-hour shifts and have some Saturday availability.
- Provides psychological assessment and evaluations.
- Provides appropriate referral to outside treatment facilities for those cases of extremely severe mental disturbance.
- Provides referral, identification, and evaluation for those identified as having a significant mental illness using Mental Health Review Form (IHSC-883).
**Note: Licensed Clinical Social Workers will be given consideration for this position as well, with required education and experience for a LCSW.***
