About the Role:The Administrative Assistant will join our team in adding future growth and services. Learning and contributing to all phases of the Supply Chain order process including working directly with our Purchasing, Sourcing, and Fleet Program Teams, creating quotes, processing of purchase orders, invoicing, conducting item research, and communicating with customers. This position is full-time, Monday – Friday, and wages start at $16-$17/hr. We are seeking an individual who preferably has a background in the transportation/intermodal or logistics industry.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Filing/Scanning
• Order Entry
• Posting receipts (PO's and transfers) 
• Scheduling
• Invoicing
• Quoting & special quotes
• Posting of IT's
• Assisting customers on the phone and by email regarding prices and stock availability
• Item research
• Working with the Warehouse Manager on incoming container loads
• Processing back orders
• Purchase planning, purchase orders, and purchase order follow up
• Learn all segments of the business (system as well as the customer service)
