About the job: 

As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for delivering a hands-on approach to the efficient operations, maintenance, and repair of all building issues. You will be a key stakeholder in building something from the ground up and have a tremendous impact as Apostrophe grows. This role is based in Gilbert, AZ and will report to the Warehouse Manager.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and machinery repairs to keep equipment in safe working order - requires strong motor controls and circuitry skills, excellent problem solving skills
  • Regularly inspect all areas of the building and report deficiencies to the Warehouse Manager, as well as provide options for solutions.
  • Communicate well and work closely with the management team to ensure the needs of the warehouse are satisfactorily met.
  • Assess property and make maintenance recommendations that will contribute to overall health of property operations.
  • Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety.
  • Receive and respond to mechanical and maintenance issues.
  • Review and coordinate work assignments.
  • Complete assignments and paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate, repair and maintain plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems.
  • Must operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively.
  • Able to work independently and with a team.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements : 

  • 4 years experience in maintenance, facilities, or field with related skills.
  • Excellent communications skills both verbal and written.
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
  • Proactive and motivational customer focused attitude to help set the tone for an energetic work environment.
  • Physical exertion required. Including, but not limited to, walking, standing, stopping, bending and lifting up to 50lbs.
