Description

Our flagship property, Hilton McLean, is looking for an energetic and talented Director of Food & Beverage to lead the team!

This well known, high profile property is located directly adjacent to Hilton's headquarters in the bustling area of Tyson's Corner in McLean, Virginia. Our beautiful 458 room property, boasts over 27,000 square feet of elegant meeting space, two food and beverage outlets, as well as In Room Dining.

In this role, the Director of Food & Beverage will report directly to the General Manager. The ideal candidate will be a strong relationship builder with excellent communication, a talent for developing others and a passion for driving innovation and improving service standards. At least 2-3 years of Director level experience with a strong banquet and restaurant background is required. Union management experience is a plus!

What will I be doing?

  • Directs and organizes the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.
  • Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation. Implements effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs.
  • Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
  • Helps ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.
  • Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.
