Hillsdale College, founded in 1844, is a not-for-profit, liberal arts college in Hillsdale, Michigan. The IT Business Analyst will be part of the Digital Platform team, a team tasked with development of digital components and services which streamline processes and outreach initiatives for Hillsdale College, such as the Online Courses at https://online.hillsdale.edu. This role will act as a liaison between the Digital Platform software development team and stakeholders representing faculty, staff, students, alumni, consultants and others who leverage software development, data analysis, and integration services to help fulfill the College’s mission.
The IT Business Analyst will work with stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and document technical requirements and business processes necessary for the Digital Platform software development team to successfully design, program, and integrate software solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen combined with ample experience working in an Agile development process with small software teams (7 to 14 people) throughout the development, implementation, and integration of enterprise software systems.
Education
Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role in an information technology or software development realm.
