The Administrative Aide provides critical backing to the K-12 Education Office through its assistance in the execution of the internal administration support components of its work. Working closely with the Office Manager, this position is primarily focused on the functional activity of the organizational flow in the K-12 office, including performing tasks in a business and clerical office setting. Candidates must have an unambiguous understanding of the mission of Hillsdale College and its philosophy. This position demands high functioning independent administrative, logistical, and clerical practices and a clear sense of business protocol.
Education and Experience
This position requires a high school diploma (some college experience preferred) and a minimum of three years’ administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to demonstrate the ability to perform the job.

The K-12 Education Office interacts routinely with College staff, visitors, and donors. A neat appearance and a pleasant relationship that is supportive of the College mission are essential. This relationship needs to be supportive and professional while maintaining confidentiality as needed.
