Able to provide a clean, sanitary comfortable, orderly and satisfying surrounding for the residents, employees, and the public. This position promotes sanitary conditions to prevent the spread of infection and odors.

Schedule: (Full-Time) Sat- Wed, 6:00AM-2:30PM

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 Per Hour.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Operates various mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, carpet cleaner, etc.
• Maintains facilities in sanitary and infectious-free condition through washing, cleaning and replacement of linens, equipment and furnishings
• Mandatorily complies with all regulation such as OSHA, EPA, State Health Department, etc.
• Uses safety precautions in all housekeeping services
• Requires working in damp, dusty and dirty areas
• Must clean up human waste and other body fluids, as required
• Responsible for disposal of trash, waste, and other disposable material
• Empties trash containers continuously throughout day
• Follows instructions on use of germicidal solutions to clean; all procedures for solution use will be part of the housekeepers’ training
• Must handle various cleaning solvents, chemicals (etc.)
• Damp dusts furniture, light fixtures, windowsills, base boards, and doors (etc.)
• Wet mops floors in all residents’ rooms and bathrooms daily
• Mop all corridor floors, lobby, dining areas, and others daily
• Cleans all basins, mirrors, commodes, tubs, and showers daily
• Cleans all air vents, fans, and light fixtures
• Checks entire living areas periodically for spills, water, (etc.), especially in residents’ bathrooms and bedrooms
• Make sure tables are cleaned and dish and towels are collected/washed/put away
• Reports any needed repairs immediately to supervisor (such as leaky faucets or toilets, loose tiles, broken windows/panes, missing nuts or screws, beds needing repair, (etc.)
• Ensures complete cleaning of each kitchen including wiping down cabinets (inside and out) floor, dishes, stove refrigerator, (etc.)
• Assist chef with putting away weekly F & W orders
• Complete daily check list and turn into Lead Housekeeper

Monthly Duties: Linens count and list of needs given to Supervisor

• Wash windows inside and outside
• Clean leather chairs/couches
• Clean chandeliers
• Empty pantry, clean shelves, reorganize pantry items on shelves
• Spot clean carpets
• Take drapery down dry clean and/or vacuum drapes / clean window frames
• Turn mattresses
• Clean window air conditioner filters and room air cleaning filters
• Clean walls and floor of outdoor entryway /porch/ deck
• Wash down baseboards/walls/ detail clean corners of rooms
• Pull out furniture and clean and vacuum exposed floor and walls
• Remove all cushions from couches and chairs and thoroughly vacuum
• Change slipcover on couches
• Make sure cushions are scrubbed and rinsed and set out to dry
• Completely strip and recoat all floor areasMinimum Requirements:

• Must have current ID
• Must be over the age of 18
• Must be able to lift and carry light objects and parcel as an incident part of their job

Physical Requirements:

• Demands good physical and mental health
• Required to lift, carry, walk, sit, push, and pull
• To move continuously during work hours
• Able to lift and/or carry 20 to 35 pounds
• Work flexible schedules
• Proof of TB

Job Type: Full time, Exempt with benefits
Pay: Hourly
Reports to: Office Manager.
