Develop and evaluate the recreation programs to ensure the residents receive all necessary services to help them maintain their highest level of functioning while offering programs related to their leisure interests. Participates and leads meetings by providing input and being prepared. Responsible for total fiscal management of the department and will manage resources available to meet or exceed budgeted outcomes. Clearly and professionally communicate with team members regarding expectations, needs, and issues related to their tasks. What should I have to be considered for this position? Completion of NNFA Activity Director Training program required. Bachelor degree in Therapeutic Recreation preferred. At least two years in a supervisory position in a long-term care setting or other related health care setting. At least two years’ experience in performing recreational duties in a long-term care setting or other health care setting. Therapeutic recreation certification preferred.
