Under limited supervision, plans, directs, and evaluates total patient care and functions in the transport environment on a particular shift, in accordance with established corporate philosophy. Orients, trains, and manages transport personnel. Relates effectively with other shifts for continuity of care; maintains positive relations with referring and receiving departments and nursing units; participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills of personnel. Must be eligible for medical command in the Commonwealth of PA.

Experience

1 Year experience performing critical care interfacility transport. (Preferred)

3 Years experience (minimum 4000 hours) in 911 or equivalent environment as an EMT-Paramedic. (Preferred)

License/Certifications

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required)

BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)

EMT-P - Paramedic Certification (Required)

DRIVER - Drivers License (Required)

EMSVO - EMS Vehicle Operator (Required)

CCP-C - Critical Care Paramedic Cert (Preferred)

NREMT - Natl Reg. Emergency Med Techs (Preferred)

NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (Preferred)

PALS - Pediatric Adv. Life Support (Preferred)

PHTLS - PreHospital Trauma LifeSupport (Preferred)
