Lucky Break is looking for a Senior Account Executive with DEI and entertainment public relations experience to join our Los Angeles DEI/LGBTQ client team. This is an in-person opportunity. We are not accepting work remote candidates. 

The ideal candidate will be driven, passionate, and a skilled PR professional with an established network of media contacts and solid track record of securing media placements. The candidate will be committed to delivering and overseeing quality work in alignment with campaign strategy to achieve desired results across multiple sectors including LGBTQ , non-profit, entertainment, and events, music and DEI.

The candidate will work within a small team and collaborate with Lucky Break’s office network to develop strategic and creative client work. This position reports directly to our VP of Communications.

What You Will Be Doing: 

• Develop and grow positive relationships with clients, maintaining Lucky Break’s excellent reputation
• Provide strategic counsel to clients where possible, being able to assess problems and define logical and effective solutions for clients
• Lead the delivery of high-profile accounts across multiple markets
• Brief and inform account team. Communicate expectations/goals to the team on an ongoing basis, helping to keep the team motivated by communicating clear tasks and actions
• Work successfully with partner agencies as part of a client integrated agency team
• Write well-structured, persuasive content and help train other team colleagues to do the same
• Contribute innovative ideas for the client and new business work, inspiring ideation amongst team members
• Pitch your extensive go-to list of media contacts and secure our clients the coverage they hired us to secure
• Lead client facing meetings in a professional, clear, bullet-pointed style that is engaging and informative

Qualifications:

· 3 years consecutive public relations agency experience with the most recent minimum experience as an Account Executive or Senior Account Executive.

· Highly motivated and a self-starter

· Evidence of successful relevant campaigns 

· Creative and a strategic thinker 

· Comfort guiding clients through the PR process 

· Proven track record in client service to senior level clients 

· Extensive strategic planning experience

· BA or BS in Communications or related degree
