The self-storage business is a fast-paced environment and our employees wear many different hats from sales and customer service representatives to marketing specialists and cleaning crew. Below is a list of duties that you will be responsible for:

Duties (include but not limited to):

• Maintain property cleanliness

• Perform cleaning and maintenance such as sweeping, mopping, picking up trash and wiping windows to ensure a great customer experience

• Conduct daily physical storage unit inspection; walk-thru, lock checks, confirm inventory availability and ensure spaces are secure and/or ready to rent

• Being able to use a metal cutting tool for auctions and assisting the property manager in the removal of locks according to the state lien laws

• Aiding customers in selecting the right size storage unit before each rental

• Being able to accurately perform each storage rental and complete all appropriate paperwork correctly

• Working independently or with other team members at multiple locations

Candidate Qualifications 

• Previous experience in the self-storage, property management or other related fields is recommended but not required

• Valid Driver's License

• Reliable Transportation

• Successfully Complete Background Check, Drug Screening and Aptitude Test

• Ability to Multitask and build rapport with tenants

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to handle money: cash, checks and credit cards responsibility

• Ability to learn new software systems quickly

Physical Requirements 

• Sitting/standing/walking/bending for up to 9 hours per day and lifting to 50 pounds

• Must be able to use or be able to learn how to use a metal grinder

• Must be able to clean inside and outside the office and units.

• Will walk approximately 80% of your day and will sit at a computer for 20% of your day

• Must be able to do light maintenance (sweep, mop, wipe) 

• Must be able to view computer screen for long lengths of time

Compensation:

$15-$17/hour
