Purpose of This Position

The Creative Team seeks to advance and support that vision by inspiring, informing, and producing to help people find and follow Jesus.

The Creative Team Coordinator supports the Creative Team and the vision for Highland Park Presbyterian Church by ensuring that ongoing processes for the Creative Team operate smoothly, especially in the areas of Production and event planning. They act as the anchor for the Creative Team, working closely with the Creative Team and other ministries to ensure that events are well supported and planned for.

• The Creative Team is highly organized and efficient.
• Staff at HP Pres are supported in their production needs, event planning, and event and worship service execution with a service-oriented spirit of collaboration and care.
• A spirit of care and collaboration with other ministries at HP Pres.

Key Responsibilities

• Highly organized, this person oversees the production events calendar and ensures that everything from large worship services to small bible studies have the AV resources they need to execute successful events.
• Coordinating Production Volunteers, Contractors, and the rest of the Creative Team, this person makes sure that events have the correct people in place to help run them.
• The Creative Team Coordinator meets with the Calendar Team and other ministries at HP Pres to help pre-plan events from a production standpoint.
• They maintain information in Planning Center, the software used to plan and execute worship services.
• They oversee efficient and effective administrative processes.
• Contributor in all areas of the Creative Team as needed.
• Manages invoicing and billing for the Creative Team.
• Assists with Project management for the Creative Team, especially in Production.
• Maintains a running list of reported production-related issues and coordinates the production team in addressing those issues.
• Coordinate with various ministry leaders (internal and external) to plan and execute technical aspects of future events
• Helps stock the green room in preparation for contractors and volunteers.
• Helps organize Creative Team events, like volunteer trainings.
• Is willing to explore their creative gifts and see how they may assist the Creative Team.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Attend all required staff meeting

Education, Experience, Skills, and Ability Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Production environment experience preferred.
• Excellent relational, communication, and organization skills.
• Maintains a positive, can-do attitude.
• Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.

Working Conditions

• Frequent lifting under 50 lbs.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
