POSITION SUMMARY:
This is an internal position with Evergent Group! This role will be remote until mid-late 2023. Potential candidates must have excellent MS Excel skills! 

The Accounts Receivable Analyst assists the finance and accounting department with billing, payment application, monitoring account balances/collection of amounts owed, and reconciliation of customer accounts.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reconciliation, Analysis and Resolution
  • Reconciles our invoices against our client’s invoices and works closely with customer and remote support teams to resolve discrepancies
  • Creates customized reporting to customers with special billing requirements
  • Monitors and issues credit memos for customers with early payment discounts
  • Audit customer accounts at the time of payment application for any reconciliation items and resolve as required.
  • Collection of outstanding receivables through interactions with sales team and/or direct customer communications
  • Prepare invoice adjustments as required
  • Send monthly invoices as needed
• Manage the receivables inbound email and responds to payment inquiries and other special requests
• Create weekly bank reporting along with the other AR team members
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

• BA or BS degree in Accounting or Finance is desired
• Minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience in relevant field

• Strong Excel experience creating pivot tables as well as VLOOKUP type formulas
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Superior interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments
• Exemplary organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
• Previous experience in the staffing, PEO or related industries is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to sit for 2 hours without standing, sit up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to engage fine motor skills such as typing and writing for up to 2 hours without a break, use fine motor skills for up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to see and read computer screen, employment documents and correspondence.
