We are hiring Lead Cooksfor our new modern Asian restaurant - the Hestia, which is located in Charlotte, NC. The Hestiawill feature a sushi and an Oyster bar, A5 Miyazaki Wagyu, Hyper Fresh Seafood, and an extensive menu of Modern Asian Cuisine. The restaurant will have Spectrum Dining, a fully immersive 5D projection room, 3,000 square feet of outdoor dining and lounge, as well as extensive wine and Sake offerings with classic and featured craft cocktails.
This is a great opportunity to bring your culinary skills to our Brand New Restaurant!You will be tempting the palettes of our guests with your attention to detail in presentation, quality, and safe serving temperatures. Our cooks are team players that work with our operations team to provide the best professional, competent and prompt service to our guests and our client partners.
As a Lead Cook you will have some key responsibilities that we’ll seek:
Prepare food of consistent quality following brand recipe cards
Proper Documentation on all food containers with adherence to rotations per SOP
Practice safety standards at all times
Report to work in full clean uniform on time and ready to serve
Cook orders with adherence to guest requests/special needs in a positive manner
Be proactive with ordering and pars, food preparations and equipment upkeep to eliminate service obstacles
Provide leadership and guidance to the line cooks, check consistency of food items, check line cooks in and out for the day, open/close the kitchen.
