Duties for this role include: Installation & configuration of Informatica Power Center & other related products. Managing the Dev/QA/UAT/Production Environments w/ High Availability & GRID setup. Build Informatica Data Exchange/Data Transformation (DX/DT) & Data Quality environments for various POCs or setting up the environment if required. Perform Informatica Power Center 8.x/9.x System Admin & Power Exchange System Admin include Team Based Dev admin. Experience w/setting up access roles & privileges, code page setups, appropriate ETL migration activities & scheduling jobs using Control-M or AutoSys. Liaise w/Systems Administrators, UNIX, Network & DBAs, scheduling & implementing software patches & upgrades. Exp. in automation of monitoring Informatica environments using UNIX, pmrep, pmcmd & other Informatica command line language. Support multiple Informatica environments, production & dev. Support dev teams w/performance tuning & troubleshooting issues. Handle day to day Informatica components migration tasks. Scheduling & Monitoring Informatica repository backups. Review of Informatica ETL design docs & working closely w/dev to ensure correct standards are followed. Scheduling jobs through Autosys/Control M for monthly & daily job cycles. INC/Remedy Ticket handling & problem ticket analysis. Creating new repositories from scratch, backup & restore. On Call Support as required during the weekends & off-hrs. Scheduling real time system jobs. Root Cause analysis for ETL job failures/Data issues raised by business. End of Life system verification & upgrades. Perform regression testing & approve the overall upgrade or setup. Mentored & monitored offshore & onsite dev teams w/regular calls on the commonly raised issues & propose permanent fixes.
