Software Tester:
Develop requirements for information systems from a project’s inception to conclusion. Develop required specifications for simple to moderately complex system
• Prepare requirements documentation using business user inputs for different source systems Child Welfare, Juvenile, Adult Management Systems (CJAMS)
• Document Master Data Management (MDM) requirements for different source systems
• Create and maintain user manuals for the application and its modular functions
2. Participate in complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC - Requirements Analysis, Design, Testing, Implementation and Support)
• Requirement analysis for Child Welfare, Juvenile, Adult Management Systems (CJAMS) and Master Data Management (MDM) project
• Data Analysis for the current legacy systems
• Test design for system testing and regression testing
• Test execution for system testing and regression testing
3. Develop and document test cases, testing plans and procedures in an agile environment
· Attend Daily scrum call and report the status
· Preparation of test estimation, test plan, test cases for MD THINK (CJAMS and MDM).
· Walk through all the testing artifacts with the project stake holders and got appropriate approval
4. Designing and executing IT software tests and evaluating results to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
· SQL queries preparation using PostgreSQL and SQL server to execute the test cases
· Capture the test results during the test execution
· Capture the defect/issues, document them in VersionOne project management tool and track until its closure
5. Design and prepare test data, reviews test results and evaluates for conformance to design
· Test data preparation based on test scenario conditions
· Ensure that all the test cases are covered and met business requirements
· Review the test results and evaluate that all the test cases are executed
6. Develop and document test cases, testing plans and procedures in an agile environment.
• Test scenario and test cases preparation
• Prepare Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM)
• Review all the related test artifacts and upload those in MD THINK confluent/google share point
7. Develop and maintain automated regression and integration test plan for validation.
• Develop regression test suite
• Automate the regression test scripts using including mock data inserts, initial load and incremental load test cases for regression and integration testing
• Execute automated test scripts for regression and integration testing
8. Communicate test results and feedback with development teams
· Validate the test results with the MD THINK business team
· Ensure all the adequate coverage is made in the system / regression testing and communicate with the development team
