need is Sr. Java designer to work on a model for a new system. Some coding, mostly design of new prototype. Can work one day a week at home.Company that provides Level 1-3 support to data center's for hardware related issues , This is a very unstructured environment . Casual Environment.

Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree or a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and 5 years of software development experience in analysis, application development, test, implementation & support experience
· Strong communication and analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks as well as work independently or in a team
Skills set desired:
o J2EE technologies: Struts, JSF/IceFaces
o Application servers: Websphere, Tomcat
o Java tools/frameworks: Hibernate, Eclipse/MyEclipse
o Build/source control: Maven, Subversion
o Database: Oracle, SQL Server, client tools like Toad or a comparable package
o Reporting Tools: Actuate BIRT, Crystal Reports
o Experience with JMS and/or IBM MQ series

Project Descriptions:
This consultant would be located in DoIT?s development team responsible for REACH, a high-profile and award-winning system developed in-house to automate the recertification process for Temporary Assistance (TA) customers. Duration until end of 2012 with the possibility of extension through 2013.
