Heritage Vet Partners is looking for a highly qualified individual interested in pursuing a career in developing partnerships between finance, management, and operating units. You will work directly with the executive leadership team, providing quantitative and analytical support to drive actionable insights for key stakeholders.

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Financial Analyst will be expected to lead and perform analysis of financial and operational activity to support HVP’s strategic objectives.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform financial analysis including financial modeling, profitability analysis, customer analysis and impact to overall company performance
  • Develop tools to measure profitability and perform key statistical analysis of revenue mix, labor ratios, client mix, location demographics and other business insights.
  • Work with other departments to develop systematic ways to collect data to monitor business activity.
  • Develop and monitor forecasts and interpret financial and operational performance of acquisitions and/or joint ventures to determine variation from expected results.
  • Support the financial close process.
  • Assist in preparing the monthly/quarterly management and Board reporting package.
  • Working as a key member of the finance team to deliver excellent forecasting and results.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related analytically focused field.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in analyzing statistical, operational, and financial data.
  • Must be advanced in Microsoft Office with a focus on manipulating large data sets in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with PowerBI and Acumatica is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to make recommendations to management supported by review of data.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP.
  • Veterinary or agriculture background is a plus.
  • Must possess a high level of work integrity. We are looking for a self-starting, energetic, results oriented team player to support our growing business.
