We seek a self-motivated, customer service-oriented individual that is a team player. Safety is one of our many top priorities therefore we offer safety bonuses for clean inspections! This full-time licensed local CDL Driver (Class A or B) - will be responsible for delivering products to customers, branches, and vendors. The workweek is Monday through Friday, with an opportunity for overtime during the busy season. No overnights. Day driving. Local driving. ESSENTIAL DUTIES An eye for safety including vehicle inspections, load securement, and general rules of the road. Loading, unloading, and staging orders in a warehouse/jobsite environment. Delivering to customer sites and branch locations and unloading products as needed. Understanding and adherence to the regulations detailed in the FMCSA. Other related duties as assigned, such as stocking, order entry, shipping/receiving, etc. REQUIREMENTS High School diploma or equivalent CDL (Class A or B) License Acceptable driving record Basic computer knowledge, keyboard (typing), mouse, Internet use Forklift experience helpful (Other type of truck experience ie: Flatbed, Moffett, etc.) Ability to lift 75 pounds; 50 pounds on a repetitive basis Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and DOT physical Job Location: Superior Irrigation and Landscape Supply - Gastonia 3001 NW Blvd Gastonia, NC 28052 Equal Opportunity Employer.
