Dauphin Precision Tool, LLC is a leading supplier of American-made, industrial cutting tools. We are seeking a qualified Engineering Manager. Our company is part of the Heritage Cutter family and manufactures tools under the Brubaker and Weldon brands. Primary product are taps, end mills, countersinks and other special rotary cutting tools in high-speed steel, cobalt, specialty tool alloys and carbide.

We are seeking a “hands-on” Engineering Manager to lead and manage a department responsible for:

• Manufacturing Engineering and Process Improvement
• Engineering drawings, models and simulations
• CNC programming
• BOO, BOM and ERP system item masters
• Collaborative responsibility for the following
• Product and process engineering in conjunction with Product Managers and R&D
• Capital projects and capital improvements working alongside the Plant Manager and Company leadership

The ideal candidate will possess

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an appropriate engineering discipline
• Engineering management experience in a primary manufacturing environment, (as contrasted with assembly). Five years or more preferred.
• Engineering management experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment where precision grinding is central to the operations.
• CAD/CAM working knowledge
• Strong leadership and team building skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
