Heritage Avonlea of Olathe is Hiring an Executive Director (FT) Near Gladstone, MO

Heritage Village of Gladstone is seeking an experienced facility Executive Director for its 60-bed ALF. As the Director, you will direct professional staff and assist Residents to learn about the lifestyle that only Heritage Village can provide, including all meals, activities, medication and medical transportation, and much more. The ideal candidate should possess strong management skills, knowledge of Missouri DHSS regulations, hiring staff, and be census-driven.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Coordinates move-in process for all new residents in conjunction with the marketer.
  • Addresses all issues and/or concerns of resident’s family members and ensures prompt resolutions for overall family satisfaction.
  • Responsible for the overall safety of residents and the facility.
  • Maintains high staff morale and fosters a supportive work environment.
  • Interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
  • Maintains daily census.
  • Responsible for keeping the facility state survey ready.
  • Payroll over the site.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels.
  • In-servicing and ongoing training of staff.
  • Oversee, supervise, and coordinate implementing facility policies and procedures.
  • Management of facility budgets.
  • Oversees any maintenance projects to ensure they get done timely.
  • Oversees the delivery of quality meals to our residents.
  • Oversees activity department.
  • Maintain the cleanest facility possible.
  • Maintain great relations with all referral sources.
  • Work closely with Ownership
  • Oversee the facility management team.
  • Make facility deposits.
  • Maintain daily census.
  • On-call when not present in the facility.
Compensation includes:
  • Competitive wage.

  • $1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of two-year experiences in either an RCF or assisted living environment as an assistant director or director.
  • Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new applications.
  • Effective organization, time management, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to handle multiple priorities and delegate assignments.
