Heritage Auctions is Hiring an Operations Manager Near Beverly HIlls, CA
- Strategically plan for and manage the efficient production and transport or shipping of consigned property to the Dallas home office.
- Manage Beverly Hills Operations staff
- Report directly to the Managing Director of the Beverly Hills office
- Assess packaging needs as it relates to delicate, large, or fragile items including building custom crates and packaging where needed
- Assist with receipt, delivery, and occasionally pick ups
- Establish and ensure best solutions for long-distance consignments
- Assist with loading and unloading items as needed
- Ensure best practices and ongoing training of staff
- Ensure items are well stored and the offices and storage areas remain neat and organized
- Set up and breakdown for previews and auctions including gallery cases and temporary walls
- Manage inventory control as assigned
- Follow all security procedures
- Assist with resolution of problems to keep everything running as smoothly as possible
- Other duties may be assigned
- Bachelor’s degree or Military training Preferred
- Must have 2 years of experience in managing personnel
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically Outlook and Excel
- Superb customer service skills and grace under pressure
- Driver’s license required
- Ability to multitask with highly detail oriented
- The individual must be able to repeatedly lift 40-70 pounds while offloading or loading
