Title: Human Resources Generalist Reports to: VP of Human Resources
Position Summary:
As a member of the HR team, the HR Generalist will have the opportunity to work in multiple areas of HR. Your specialty will be employee retention and ensuring that Herbruck’s is a best place to work. Providing a best-in-class HR experience, you will be responsible for HR related activities including but not limited to employee relations, employee engagement, leadership and talent development, training, company culture, recruitment, policy interpretation and administration, coaching and counseling members and management, and ensuring employment law compliance.

Essential Skills and Experience:
The successful person in this role will have a high degree of flexibility, organization, detail-orientation and self-motivation. You’ll be a skilled communicator, with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills. You’ll know how to adjust your communications to be appropriate to difference audiences, simplifying messages as needed. Computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications will be needed; experience with HRIS' including ADP preferred. Knowledge of employment law including EEO, FMLA, ADA, unemployment, worker's comp, and investigation processes.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Work will be in a variety of locations including office, chicken houses and processing facilities. Occasional lifting to 25 lbs.
