GENERAL SUMMARY: Delphinus Engineering is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Program Manager, supporting our expanding presence at NSWC Carderock. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional management of engineering and logistic support services, ensuring the success of existing and future programs/technologies that play a vital role in supporting the United States Navy, US Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Military Sealift Command, Offshore Platforms, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and joint programs undertaken by NSWC Carderock. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of cutting-edge technologies and bolster national defense capabilities.

Position Requirements

EDUCATION:

• Shall possess a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in any engineering discipline from an accredited College or University.

EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Program Manager for major Government programs involving full-spectrum science and technology, and engineering support of Navy ship programs
• A minimum of 5 years experience, which may be concurrent, in environmental programs, and/or materials programs for Navy shipboard applications.
• Using scheduling tools (Microsoft Project or similar product), planning, estimating, and project progress tracking
• Using Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) management, subcontract management, Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) concepts, processes, procedures and Earned Value concepts
• Working with Navy programs, organizations, functions, and responsibilities
• Managing team subordinates

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the oversight of all tasks required by the Statement of Work (SOW).
• Primary point of contact regarding overall operations management and performance issues.
• Take all appropriate measures to mitigate adverse impacts and prepare long-term solutions as applicable.
