Job Summary:

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the planning, management and successful execution of projects, including transition of acquired businesses into Help at Home operations. As part of the Business Transformation team, this role will oversee and drive large-scale project budgets, scope, timelines, and risks to support deployment of multifaceted initiatives and change efforts across the organization. The Senior Project Manager will report to the Director, Project Management Office.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Manage a complex portfolio of prioritized projects and change management initiatives from original concept (initiation) through final implementation (project closure and lessons learned)
• Partner closely with Help at Home Operations and Market Leaders to track and integrate work in alignment with organization goals
• Develop relationships and partner with various business stakeholders and partners to drive projects forward in cooperation
• Develop and maintain project schedules that encompass all project milestones, and adhere to deadlines for the overall success and closure of projects
• Develop and maintain business requirements and other standard project documentation for each assigned initiative
• Provide project visibility to key stakeholders and project teams through regular meeting cadence and status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, issues and risks (and associated mitigation and contingency plans)
• Drive cross-functional project workstreams and participate/present in Executive Steering Committees and Help at Home forums as needed
• Lead by example through project management best practices and continuous improvement in alignment with overall company strategies and values
• Support development of integration playbook
• Demonstrate teamwork and innovation within daily work

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proficient in project management software including project scheduling and SharePoint (or equivalent) tools
• Project Management Institute certification preferred
• Healthcare or Healthcare administration experience preferred
• Extensive knowledge of Traditional/Waterfall Project Management Methodology and working knowledge of Agile Project Management methodology
• Effective communicator with high attention to detail and deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and drive projects with minimal supervision
• Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to adapt to various audiences
• Flexibility to travel if required, <5%

Education and Experience:

• 8 years experience in a project management role
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field or business experience equivalent

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
