AAMCO Transmissions and Total Car Care is Hiring a Recruiting Support Specialist Near Chicago, IL
We are currently seeking an individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of recruiting techniques and possess the ability to share that experience with AAMCO Center Management.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Train store management how to recruit candidates locally
- Position the company as an "Employer of Choice"
- Connect with local Tech Schools
- Meet with School Administrators
- Establish ongoing relationships with all schools within a reasonable distance from AAMCO locations
- Attend Job Fairs at local Tech Schools and attend Job Fairs on a National level
- Introduce Store Owners/Management to all Tech School Instructors and Administrators
- Work with local AAMCO locations to build apprenticeship and mentoring programs
- Work closely with Operations Management within your assigned area
- Assist the Recruiting Department in the evaluation of Talent
- Minimum of 3 Years in the Automotive Business - Retail, Commercial
- Multi-Unit experience a plus
- Minimum of at least one year recruiting experience
- Proven ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment
- Must have a strong attention to detail and display the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
- Strong computer skills specifically Microsoft Office Suite
- Travel Required
