Job Summary:

The Help at Home Learning and Development Specialist will oversee the learning and development of Care Coordination’s clinical staff and support their learning and professional growth. This role will be responsible for organizing and implementing learning and development in alignment with the business and clinical strategies so that the skills and performance of employees meet the organization’s current and future needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages all clinical learning and development activities
  • Anticipates and identifies clinical and operational workflow learning and development impacts
  • Develops overall learning and development plans to meet Care Coordination employee needs
  • Creates and curates effective learning and development materials and content
  • Delivers and evaluates learning and development content and curriculum to ensure the success of employee performance
  • Iterates, enhances, and maintains all learning and development content
  • Embraces and implements different learning and development styles
  • Assesses and optimizes development plans
  • Supports and coaches employees around change management
  • Works directly with Director, Clinical Systems Informaticist, and Senior Operations Manager to establish and integrate key business concepts and strategies into learning and development

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Adult Learning, Instructional Design, Virtual Learning design and Delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport, collaborate, and develop effective working relationships with all levels of staff and key stakeholders
  • Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience in design, development, and implementation of Electronic Health Record System learning and development
  • BSc/BA in Business, Psychology or BSN or Master’s in Nursing Education
  • Professional certification preferred
  • Nursing background preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to research and evaluate effective learning and development options
  • Proficiency in various learning and development platforms and techniques
  • Strong virtual presentation skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a broader Care Coordination team
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized, flexible and able to multitask
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and work within a rapidly changing environment

Location:

  • Remote
  • Up to 25% travel required

Physical Requirements:

  • Home office setting, indoor, and extensive use of computer
  • Minimal lifting and bending but role typically requires long periods of sitting
