Helm Point Solutions is Hiring a Security Engineer Near Fort Belvoir, VA
- Leads and/or performs Information Systems Security Officer FSO/SSO/ISSO duties.
- Manages personnel security, physical security, and operational security processes.
- Verifies clearances, supports investigations, and facilitates visitor access.
- Conducts in/out briefs.
- Promotes security awareness and conducts security training.
- Provides expertise managing classified information, AIS, and facilities, including accreditation.
- Experience verifying clearances and supporting the background investigation process.
- Experience conducting staff in-briefing and out-briefing.
- Experience managing classified information, facilities, and obtaining and maintaining accreditation.
- Extensive Executive Order 13526, NISPOM, ICD series, DoD 5205.07 SAP Manual, and other applicable security policies.
- Has knowledge of Special Access Programs (SAP) and Special Technical Operations (STO) security policies, processes, and procedures.
- Prior Military Experience
- Deep understanding of the security clearance process
- Immediate availability
