Our Milwaukee manufacturing center boasts 200,000 square feet where robotic technology assists our teams in producing up to 15 million parts per day. We are hiring a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to be responsible for assisting in the corrective action process and non-conformance reduction related to manufactured products, review and approve Engineering Change Notices and assist in the establishment of sampling plans for manufactured products. What You Will Do (Essential Functions): Coordinate quality portions of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), including Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Process Flow Diagram (PFD), and Control Plans, as needed Assist in the management of manufactured product FMEA process Manage customer websites. i.e. Scorecards where applicable and customer complaints Assist in the internal auditing process Act as a point of contact for customer complaints and field issues when required Assist in determining root cause failures for quality non-conformance Assist with 3rd party certifications to UL, CSA, Military specifications, etc. Understand and Support Document Control Assist in the root cause analysis/corrective action process Support other departments to resolve quality issues as required Other Functions Internal auditor for IATF16949 Address customer concerns/requests for manufactured product Other duties may be assigned Support the Lean/WIN initiative by always looking for ways to improve processes/functionality/products. What You Bring (Qualifications): Bachelors or Associates degree (preferably Quality or Engineering related) or equivalent experience/training. 1 years prior Quality Assurance experience Statistical knowledge required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must have a valid driver's license, with an acceptable driving record, along with adequate insurance. Preferred Qualifications: Automotive quality assurance experience highly preferred Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing preferred Six Sigma certification is highly desirable Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred Certified and experience in auditing TS (Automotive) and ISO standards #LI-DM1#LI-Onsite
