The Social Worker is responsible for assessing our residents psychological status during admissions and at other intervals during their residence. Social Workers also work with staff and families to outline the goals of the residents' stay and create a plan to meet those goals. The Social Worker may also assist residents and families with coping to the new environment, changes to physical or mental capacity, and end of life concerns.
Qualified candidates must be a licensed Social Worker in the Commonwealth of MA. BSW or related field is required. Two years of social work experience in a long-term care or healthcare facility preferred. Prior work with a geriatric population is also a plus.
