The Hellenic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center (HNRC) has opportunities for (Fulltime or Part-time) to join our team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Prepares laundry carts

Performs daily washing and drying of patient’s personal clothing, and all house linen, such as, face cloths, towels, johnnies, soakers, sheets, housekeeping mops, kitchen towels, etc.

Operates washing devices, washing machines, dryers and iron

Follows a set schedule using the proper methods of washing and drying:

a. Sorts soiled linen and transfers soiled linen from carts to washing machines

b. Sets appropriate machine cycle

c. Transfers clean linen from washing machines to dryers.

d. Sorts, folds laundry and places on linen table

e. Loads onto shelves or transfer carts

f. Transports carts to floors

May wash and dry napkins and tablecloths separately and have them ready for the next meal.

Use proper carts (clean linen/soiled linen).

In emergency situation, prepares emergency house linen.

Empties dryers after every shift.

Observes and reports the need for repairs to the machines to supervisor.

Sanitizes and maintains cleanliness of laundry area.
