Jointhe McNabb Center Team as a Master's Level Clinician for School Based Servicesin Hamilton County today!

The SchoolBased Master's Level Clinician providesindividual and family psychotherapy in a school based, community, and/or clinicsetting to children with mental health diagnosis, or are at the onset of mentalillness, and may be experiencing a family disruption or school problem.

• Will travel to client homes for appointments when needed. 
• Clinician will ensurecompliance with productivity standards set by the Program Coordinator byscheduling determined number of clients for weekly session, providing follow upphone calls when clients cancel or miss scheduled appointments, and providesupport staff with information for appointment reminder calls.
• Clinicianwill attend monthly treatment team meetings and provide the prescriber withneeded information regarding clients' current situation and familycircumstances.
• Clinician will attend doctor appointments as needed, will discussoptions/goals for clients receiving services, and will provide crisisintervention and emergency services as needed. 

COMPENSATION: Startingsalary for this position is approximately $45,080 /yr based on relevantexperience and education.

Schedule: 

• Thisposition has a regular schedule of Monday-Friday 8am until 5pm but at timesflexibility of hours may be required.
• There is no on-call for this position and employee is off on Centerdesignated holidays.

Travel:

• This position requires utilizing a personaldependable vehicle to conduct Center business.
• Maintaining adependable vehicle and certified driver status is a condition ofemployment.

Equipment/Technology: 

• Thisposition does require basic computer skills for timekeeping and use ofelectronic medical records entry.

QUALIFICATIONS - SchoolBased Master's Level Clinician

Education: 

• Master's degree inHuman Services or related field, with course work or experience in the areas oftrauma, cultural diversity, human development, etiology and treatment of mentalillness, alcohol and drug abuse, physical and sexual abuse, suicide, andintellectual disabilities.

Experience / Knowledge: 

• One yearexperience in a human services or related field preferred.

Physical:

• Minimalexposure to biological hazards.
• Hearing of normal/soft tones and close eye work.
• Valid driver's license.
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
• CPR and First Aidcertification required (training provided).
• Required to be certified in and adequately implement verbalde-escalation techniques.
• Applicants should be able to exercise sound judgement under pressure.
• Clinical staff may be required to get an F endorsement to transportclients as necessary.
