Join the McNabb Center Team as a Master's Level Clinician for Military Services today!

The Military Services Master's Level Clinician is responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and treatment of persons seeking professional help for mental health and co-occurring issues. This includes initial assessments, diagnosing, triage/crisis counseling, and individual therapy. Will serve both past or present military personnel and/or their families.

COMPENSATION: Starting salary for this position is approximately $48,020 /yr based on relevant experience and education.

Schedule:

• This position has a regular schedule of Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
• There is no on-call for this position and employee is off on Center designated holidays.
• In person daily attendance is essential for this position except in instances of approved time off.

Travel:

• Position does not require routine travel or transportation of clients.
• Some minimal travel may occur for off-site training opportunities or outreach efforts.

Equipment/Technology:

• Position is required to enter clinical information into electronic medical records software.
• Position requires frequent use of telephone and intermittent use of telehealth software platform (camera/speakers).

QUALIFICATIONS - Military Services Master's Level Clinician

Education:

• Graduation from an accredited college of university with a Master's Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or other related field of study.
• Eligible for certification and licensure by the State of Tennessee if such exists or his/her degree/profession.
• Licensed preferred.

Experience / Knowledge:

• Must have course work and or experience in the areas of psychopathology, counseling, theory, cultural diversity, human development, etiology and treatment of alcohol and drug abuse and mental illness.
• One year experience preferred. Veterans and those with military experience preferred.

Physical:

• Minimal exposure to biological hazards.
• Hearing of normal/soft tones and close eye work.
• Valid driver's license.
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
• CPR and First Aid certification required (training provided).
• Required to be certified in and adequately implement verbal de-escalation techniques.
• Applicants should be able to exercise sound judgement under pressure.
• Clinical staff may be required to get an F endorsement to transport clients as necessary.
