The Master'sLevel Clinician:

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based and culturally competent. 
  • Complete assessments for mental health of children and adults, alcohol and drug, and co-occurring disorders, formulate diagnoses, and develop master treatment plans for families. 
  • Complete paperwork timely and in compliance with contractual, legal, applicable licensing, accreditation, and quality assurance standards and oversight requirements. 
  • Work with individual clients and their families to develop and implement treatment goals and a Family Treatment Plan. 
  • Consistently meet all productivity targets set by the program. 
  • Participate in a Recovery Services Team providing programmatic input for Treatment Team decisions related to client needs and progress. 
  • Provide coverage for shifts in the transitional housing component of Great Starts.
  • Maintain strong collaboration with partners on behalf of the children and families served.

Compensation: Starting salary for this position is approximately $48,020 /yrbased or relevant experience and education.

Scheduling: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm with some flexibility to assist in covering transitional housing shifts if necessary

Travel: This position requires utilizing a personaldependable vehicle to conduct Center business. Maintaining a dependable vehicleand certified driver status is a condition of employment. F endorsement isrequired.

Equipment/Technology: Basic Computer skills are required for email,time keeping, and documenting in the electronic medical record.

QUALIFICATIONS - Master'sLevel Clinician

Education: 

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field required; Training in trauma informed care and interventions, co-occurring disorders, alcohol and drug etiology, child psychopathology, cultural diversity, and child development preferred.

Experience / Knowledge

  • One year experience treating co-occurring disorders and trauma in parents preferred.

Physical:

  • Minimal exposure to biological hazards.
  • Hearing of normal to soft tones and close eye work.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required.
  • Required to be certified in and adequately implement verbal de-escalation techniques.
  • Applicants should be able to exercise sound judgement under pressure.
  • Clinical staff members must possess reliable transportation, the ability to acquire an F endorsement on driver's license, and transport clients.
