What you will be doing: The Brand Manager will be a key member of the beauty division go-to-market strategies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading key projects and initiatives which optimally drive consumer conversation and conversion for their assigned brand (Hot Tools) by conceptualizing and carrying out focused brand marketing plans in partnership with key cross functional partners – digital, product, creative, sales, etc. This role will maintain the brand integrity and consistency across all company marketing initiatives, communications including crafting and handling promotional collateral/assets to establish and maintain our brands. In addition, they will assist with product portfolio strategy development, pricing, and new business identification. Furthermore, they will play a key role in brand strategy and positioning work, including competitive and customer insights analysis, setting brand guidelines, vision, and value proposition. Management of ABMs and agency partners may be included. Develop and implement brand marketing programs and activations that accurately drive growth, adoption, and overall awareness in partnership with internal production/creative and external agency partners Brief, lead and drive the development of marketing promotional activities, programs, and assets in effort to drive impactful consumer and trade promotions including creation of activations with flexibility and global adaptation capabilities Drive profitable growth of brands within area of responsibility including the margin health of the portfolio in collaboration with manager and key leaders in Sales and Product Use data, insights, etc. to understand market trend, identify new marketplace opportunities and consumer trends to drive growth Collaborate with Media, PR, Digital, Social, and creative teams for calendar and initiative alignment Manage existing agency relationships to ensure all services are being improved Extract useful insights from data (internal & external) Use trends and consumer insights to drive brand awareness and overall brand adoption Skills needed to be successful in this role: Proven experience positioning/repositioning brands and driving brand strategies Solid understanding of social/digital marketing Knowledge of key brand marketing principles Strong presentation skills Ability to generate original ideas, encourage new ways of thinking, and develop innovative solutions Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in marketing/digital marketing/business or related subject (MBA preferred) 5 years’ experience in brand management, consumer products industry, beauty, or relevant/adjacent industry Proven understanding of brand management/marketing in mass and prestige retail environment Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis Wondering if you should apply?
