This Opportunity Our Human Resources team is focused on Heitman’s most valuable asset: our people. The Analyst will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of reporting that crosses all aspects of the HR people data landscape. This can entail everything from weekly, monthly, yearly reporting to assistance with in-depth analysis on internal and external trends.The Analyst will report to Heitman’s Vice President, Compensation & HRIS, and will work directly will the full HR team on a wide range of projects and initiatives. Our team works in a hybrid environment, with 3-days spent working in Heitman’s office each week.

The responsibilities of an HR Analyst include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as the HR main point of contact with our internal marketing team; compile employee data and HR related policies/practices to respond to client requests as they are received
  • Assist in benchmarking, analyzing and applying compensation market data
  • Calculate and analyze employee demographics, retention, turnover and internal mobility trends
  • Develop and report on key recruiting metrics including time to fill and hiring costs
  • Assist in the development and rollout of employee surveys; format and analyze responses, and make recommendations based on results
  • Work with HR leadership team to enhance performance management; assess results from our employee performance reviews
  • Analyze and develop insights from employee exit data
  • Develop easily consumed reports and dashboards to measure progress and inform senior leadership of key trends; maintain and update reports on an on-going basis
  • Analyze and clean all data to identify issues and opportunity areas and inform design of strategies, practices and policies
  • Participate in a variety of projects across full HR team

We are seeking individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Must possess a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a related role within the Human Resources field
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong research, data analysis, oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills are critical
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information with careful thought and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience managing large data sets in Excel (i.e., can create basic formulas, vlookups, pivot tables, and charts)
  • A team player with strong relationship building skills
  • An adaptable, organized, agile individual who enjoys change and exploring complex and diverse situations to help develop solutions; comfortable with ambiguity
  • Strong professional presence and communication skills
  • Open to new ideas and possibilities - demonstrates the ability and willingness to move outside of their “comfort zone”
  • Knowledge or experience working in ADP, Alteryx, and/or data visualization tools (i.e., PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) considered a plus
