The Role

As a Sales Development Representative, you are identifying and qualifying potential clients for our award-winning security platform. In this role, your primary responsibility is outbound prospecting, generating meetings for our sales teams for the US region.

Your day-to-day

  • Generate new sales opportunities by outbound communication by phone, email, and other forms of outreach to a large volume of cold and warm leads daily.
  • Initiate conversations with security buyers, qualifying and managing inquiries, identifying and understanding business needs, and creating new business meetings for the Heimdal sales team.
  • Identify prospects’ needs and suggest appropriate products/services.
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospective customers and Account Executives
  • Work closely with marketing to follow-up on tradeshow leads and inbound marketing leads, recruit attendees for webinars and seminars, set up in territory visits for outside sales teams to coincide with demand generation activities.
  • Learn and stay up to date with the technical capabilities and benefits of the Heimdal platform and products.
  • Maintain lead records and activities using Salesforce.com.
  • Use the tools and resources made available to you by the company, e.g. sales engagement tools, lead generation tools, etc. such as Outreach, Lusha, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results.

  • Being a firm believer in the math of sales, knowing success is a combination of hard work, strong priorities, and high quality.

What you bring to the team 

  • At least one year of sales experience. Previous experience in IT/Cyber security is a plus. 
  • Basic computer skills such as Outlook, MS Office and Salesforce.com 
  • Fluent in English; verbal and written
