JOB SUMMARY
The product manager is responsible for presenting and promoting their supplier’s products to our sales team while coordinating all the below activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties as assigned.
- Promotes and supports operational excellence and maintains an environment that fosters continuous improvement, teamwork, and commitment to satisfy customer requirements.
- Leads, coaches the Product team, and acts as a trusted advisor.
- Responsible for performance management and development of direct reports.
- Assesses workload, headcounts and organizational needs and communicates these needs to upper management.
- Establishes and manages relationships with strategic supplier partners.
- Develops strategies with the sales teams across business units ensuring a best in class internal and external customer experience.
- Provides market intelligence, industry trends, competitor information to stakeholders.
- Supports sales as a product expert and point of escalation for supplier issues.
- Brings forth new ideas for process improvements and change which will improve the business and profitability.
- Other duties as assigned.
