HEARTLAND BUSINESS SYSTEMS LLC is Hiring a College Recruiter I Near Little Chute, WI

Description

Position Summary:

The College Recruiter I will be a member of the Heartland Business Systems’ (HBS) Talent Acquisition Team. They will partner with the College Recruiter II in helping organize, establish and maintain college relationships nationally. They will connect, engage, and develop relationships with colleges and universities nationally as well as organize and manage the career fair process alongside the College Recruiter II. 

Roles and Responsibilities/ Essential Functions:

  • Organize and logistically plan HBS career fair attendees and career fair materials. 
  • Work with the College Recruiter II and key leadership to identify the universities that HBS will develop relationships with.
  • Research those said universities and ensure they align with HBS’ footprint and business needs.
  • Build relationships with targeted universities and their career services offices by developing partnership programs, promoting HBS brand and culture, offering information sessions and by maintaining contact throughout the year.
  • Register for events and maintain brand on college recruiting platforms. 
  • Attend career fairs, information sessions, resume reviews and other campus activities.
  • Promote HBS attendance at recruiting events and engage students before, during and after the event.
  • Educate college students about the HBS employment brand and culture.
  • Partner with high schools and the College Recruiter II to promote careers in the IT field and future employment with HBS. May include arranging speakers from HBS, apprentice programs, job shadowing, technical assistance and mentoring opportunities.
  • Participate in College Recruiting Social Media Strategy to create, design and implement weekly social media posts.

Required Experience:

  • 1 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience

Preferred Experience:

  • 2 years of university recruiting experience 
  • Experience planning and executing corporate recruiting events

Required Skills, Education and/ or Certifications:

  • Associate degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Willing and able to travel on a regular basis
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Detail Oriented and Organization

Preferred Skills, Education and/ or Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Understanding of social media marketing 
  • Strong relationship management skills
