What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver Helper - Springfield FT 4 Days Per Week position at Heart of America Beverage Company?
Heart of America Beverage is seeking energetic candidates to join our delivery team in Springfield as a driver helper. If you enjoy a fast paced and dynamic environment, this job may be for you. The most fun part? We sell beer for a living! Our culture is made up of people who are passionate about beer and passionate about fun. Hourly rate of pay is $16.00 per hour.
The driver helper is responsible for assisting the delivery driver with duties as needed. This position requires a hard worker that can self-motivate to achieve the goals of the position.
Optional: Driver Helper can be considered for a Class A CDL training program and will be encouraged to obtain a Class A permit within 90 days of hire and a Class A license within 90 days of receiving the permit. The Class A CDL training is conducted in-house by a company trainer. The salary range for a Class A CDL driver is $45,00 to $50,000 including salary, commission and bonus structure.
Driver Helper Primary Responsibilities
- Unloading product at account
- Placing and rotating product
- Building displays
- Customer service
- Other duties as needed by driver
Driver Helper Primary Qualifications
- There are many physical qualifications that helpers must meet. Ex) lifting up to 165 pounds, bending, standing for several hours at a time, tolerate going back and forth from hot to cold temperatures.
- Must be 18 year of age for driver helper and 21 years of age to be considered for the Class A CDL Driver Trainee Program.
- Must have a valid and clean driver’s license
