Overview

HealthPRO Pediatrics, partners with KIDS Therapy Associates, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for our Outpatient Pediatric Clinic in North County, San Diego, CA

  • Full Time | Part time applicants will be considered....Your life, your schedule
  • Prefer a SLP with at least 3 years of experience working with children (0-18 years old) with Autism, developmental, neurological, and medically based commutation disorders
  • Experience in treating apraxia, ASD, expressive/ receptive language delays, feeding, literacy, as well as augmentative/ alternative communication devices is highly desirable.

Our San Diego clinic, KIDS Therapy Associates, provides pediatric and adolescent outpatient therapy in a family oriented, child-friendly environment. Our services include speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and feeding therapy. Our therapists incorporate various treatments to help children reach their milestones with confidence. Responsibilities

  • Attend team meetings and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including: physicians, psychologists, therapists, and parents to provide holistic services
  • Write evaluation reports, treatment plans, progress reports, correspondence and other paper work needed to provide high quality services and maintain records in EMR
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication 
  • Participate in parent, community, and professional training efforts
  • Participate in activities aimed at developing and marketing the program
  • Supervise graduate students or clinical fellows
  • Strong organizational skills/ self-motivated/ ability to be flexible and adapt to changing schedules/ great at time management/ strong communication and customer service skills

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech- Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or qualify to complete Clinical Fellowship
  • Must hold a current state license to practice in the state of CA 
  • Assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development
