POSITION: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE
We are looking for a Business Development Representative to function as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. Your role will be focused on outbound prospecting to seek and develop relationships with potential new customers. The goal is to book sales appointments that eventually turn into legitimate sales opportunities.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns, meeting sales quotas, and making outbound prospecting phone calls. If you are motivated and results-driven, and enjoy working in a team environment, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth objectives.
PRIMARY ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Outreach to prospective clients through 65 cold calls per day
• Qualify leads from various marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
• Present HealthMark’ s value propositions to prospects in a professional and accurate manner
• Set up meetings or calls between prospects and Regional Sales Directors
• Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
• Consistently update, track and report key data points in the CRM
• Stay up to date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative or similar role
• Experience with high-volume cold calling
• Resilient and confident with an eager willingness to call on prospects
• Confident and energetic phone presence
• Understanding of sales performance metrics
• Track record of achieving sales quotas
• Exceptional written, verbal communication and negotiation skills
• Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
• Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
• Ability to deliver engaging presentations
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or relevant field
