Open Position: Product Marketing Manager

Reports to: Senior Content Marketing Manager

Location: Remote, Irvine, Nashville, Lafayette

Responsibilities:

Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at HST starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how HST’S products solve an ASC's problems--from the every day to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that changes the game, redefines the medium, makes the user the priority, and ultimately, lets the technology speak for itself. You will work closely with the Senior Content Marketing Manager to create and maintain content for all of HST’s product offerings (ex. Product decks, case studies, one-pagers, etc.). You will also work with internal departments (ex. HR and our Learning & Development team) to assist them in their internal and external marketing needs. Creativity and out-of-the-box thinking are encouraged.

You will be responsible for:

  • Becoming a product expert and an ambassador of HST products both internally and externally.
  • From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the representation of the product and help it grow a consumer base.
  • You will help users get the most out of their HST experience, increasing product affinity, and brand engagement.
  • Determining the type of marketing content that needs to be created and distributed to support our Sales and Product teams.
  • Managing a calendar scheduling the creation of each piece of content and the planned release.
  • Working with in-house subject matter experts to create the desired content or assist them in creating.
  • Meeting with Product Managers monthly to review existing product content, identity areas of improvement, and understand upcoming product releases to see how marketing can assist.
  • Meeting with our Learning & Development and HR teams bi-weekly to review upcoming initiatives and see how marketing can assist.
  • Building internal and external email newsletters to support other departments.
  • Coordinating with the Senior Digital Media Manager for supporting digital asset development.
  • Working with two senior marketing managers to support marketing campaigns as needed.
  • Tracking and reporting on content metrics across various platforms.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a marketing related function
  • Bachelors’ Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, or related field
  • Proven experience managing various projects
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to apply sound judgment in new or ambiguous situations
  • Ability to remain nimble and quickly shift project priorities as business needs fluctuate
  • Strong experience leading both strategic development and tactical execution of content-related projects
  • Can thrive while juggling multiple projects at various stages of development
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Analytics
