POSITION SUMMARY
The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment throughout the facility, ensuring that all areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness to support the health and well-being of our patients, staff, and visitors.
CORE COMPETENCIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in patient rooms, offices, common areas, and other designated areas according to established protocols and schedules.
- Sanitize and disinfect surfaces, equipment, and high-touch areas regularly to prevent the spread of infections and maintain a hygienic environment.
- Collect and dispose of trash and medical waste in accordance with safety guidelines and regulations.
- Clean and stock restrooms with supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and towels to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning and janitorial supplies as needed, ensuring adequate inventory levels are maintained.
- Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials and biohazard waste.
- Assist with special cleaning projects and tasks as assigned, such as deep cleaning, floor waxing, and carpet shampooing.
- Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required while performing cleaning duties.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or cleanliness concerns to the appropriate personnel for prompt resolution.
- Collaborate with other staff members and departments to coordinate cleaning activities and maintain a cohesive and efficient work environment.
- Uphold confidentiality and respect the privacy of patients, staff, and visitors at all times.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with patients, visitors, and fellow staff members.
QUALIFICATIONS

Required: 18 years of age or older

Required: High School Diploma or GED.
