Health1st Home Health Services (HHHS) is seeking PT/FT Personal Care Assistants (PCA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) to provide 1:1 supervision for safety and assistance to the client in activities of daily living to maintain the client in their home.
Personal Care Assistant and Home Health Aides are paraprofessionals who are specifically trained and competent to perform assigned functions of personal care to a patient under direct instruction, direction and supervision of a Licensed Registered Nurse (RN).

Services and Procedures of Assisting:
- Toileting
- Skin care to maintain the health of the skin
- Range of motion (ROM) and muscle strengthening exercises to maintain an optimal level of functioning
- Transfers and ambulation
- Bathing, grooming and hair washing necessary for personal hygiene
- Assistance with medication per parent direction
- Dressing or undressing of the client(s)
- Assistance with eating, meal preparation and grocery shopping
- Accompanying to medical appointments
- Household services that are a part of a personal care plan
- Appropriate reporting of changes in client status
Health1st Home Health Services requires ALL APPLICANTS TO COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING according to operational procedures, rules, policy and guidelines.
- Applicant's are to have a state issued, current photo ID/Driver's License and or Passport
- Applicant's are to have a current physical and TB test performed
- Applicant's are to have a valid Social Security card
- Applicant's are to have birth certificate
- Applicant's are to have a valid, clean and current criminal and child abuse report
- Applicant's are to love and respect working with people of all ages
- Applicants are to have reasoning ability and excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with the client and HHHS management
