Health Services Consultants is Hiring a Maintenance Worker Near Charleston, IL
If you have experience performing routine maintenance, construction, plumbing and repairs, don't miss this opportunity! Health Services Consultants is expanding our team in the Charleston/Mattoon area, to provide maintenance services at our residential homes for adults with disabilities. This dynamic full-time position offers variety in daily duties and skill development while working at different sites to serve our clients.
Duties include:
- Performs preventive and routine maintenance, general carpentry
- Repairs, installs household electrical appliances
- Diagnosis and repair mechanical issues
- General repairs (painting, drywall, switches, breakers, fuses, leaks, heating/cooling)
Required:
- 1 year of maintenance related experience
- Basic knowledge and experience in carpentry, plumbing, electricity, and mechanical tasks.
- Be able to work indoors and outdoors in a variety of temperatures and conditions.
- Ability to guide and support developmental disability staff in emergency situations, by phone or in person
- Document work orders thru software based reporting
- Must be available for night/weekend call duty
