HEALTH PARTNERS GROUP INC is Hiring a Dental Receptionist Near Helen, MD

Health Partners is seeking an energetic, dedicated dental administrative professional to join our dynamic team! We are non-profit primary care and dental clinic providing quality care to the uninsured, as well as Medicaid, Medicare, and some commercial insurance recipients. We have three locations serving Southern Maryland, Waldorf, Nanjemoy, and Lexington Park, dedicated to providing quality compassionate care to our community; we are looking for a dental receptionist whose compassion and dedication align with our mission. Are you our new team member?

Job Duties provide coverage for all three offices and include:

  • Schedule patient appointments.
  • Collect, document, and update patient demographic, insurance, and income information.
  • Prepare patient charts for appointments and ensure proper placement of documents in the patient charts.
  • Perform insurance eligibility checks for all insured patientsbeforeo and on the date of appointment.
  • Answer phones and handles situations as appropriate, screening calls and referring as necessary to appropriate personnel and volunteers.
  • Maintain patient billing, including collecting payments on the date of service and sending statements for past balances.

Preferred skills:

  • Dental Front Desk experience preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance guidelines including HMO/PPO, Medicare, and Medicaid.
  • Knowledge of OpenDental is a plus.
  • Competent use of computer systems.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and with consistency.
  • Minimum of 2 years reception experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
