Job Description
Fast-paced real estate development and property management company seeking an organized and driven Staff Accountant. This position will work closely with our accounting team to preform daily accounting functions.
JOB TASKS
Main duties described below but not limited to.
- Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities and assist accounting team in preparation of all finical statements
- Assist with completion of annual audits and other year-end processing
- Creating & updating spread sheet reports
- Researching, interpreting & verifying financial information
- Handling billings and invoicing
SKILLS
Must be proficient in Excel
Experience in using Microsoft Word and accounting software
Team working ability
Excellent organizational, problem-solving and communication skills
EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred
5 years accounting or related field experience
Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas
Experience with financial reporting requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
GAAP: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification: CPA (Preferred)
Full time job includes benefits and insurance.
Salary based on experience.
