HCO Behavioral Health is Hiring a Clinical Supervisor Near Gonzales, LA
BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES Clinical Supervisor
Provides clinical oversight and supervision to staff that provide individuals, families, and groups with the support needed to cope with mental health, behavioral health and/or substance abuse illnesses.
General Responsibilities:
- Oversees the mental health program and ensures compliance, growth, outstanding outcomes & success.
- Complete individual CPST sessions Minimum caseload of 5 clients, assessments/reassessments, discharge summaries, and reauthorizations for those clients.
- Ensures BHSP adheres to rules and regulations regarding all behavioral
health treatment, such as group size, caseload and referrals
- Provides supervision utilizing evidence-based techniques related to the
practice of behavioral health counseling;
- Supervises staff that monitors, evaluates, and records client progress according to measurable goals described in treatment and care plan.
- Attends and participates in treatment planning activities and discharge
planning
- Attends and participates in staff development programs, department related conferences and administrative meetings.
- Attends necessary training's and conferences to maintain licensure.
- Provides on-call crisis support for unlicensed staff. Be on duty and on call as needed.
- Monitor completion of client assessment, treatment plans, discharges, and licensing and accreditation regulations
- Function as the client advocate in all treatment decisions affecting the client.
- Prepare and write notes or other documents related to recovery.
Job Qualifications:
- Valid Louisiana clinical license (Licensed Clinical Social Worker: LCSW, Licensed Professional Counselor: LPC, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist: LMFT)
- Have a minimum of two years qualifying experience as an LMHP in the provision
of services provided by the BHSP - A sound leader who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster cooperation across departmental lines and manage information, environmental and fiscal resources to accomplish goals.
- Good writing and composition skills.
- Able to organize and prioritize high volume workload.
- Able to function with minimal supervision.
- Therapeutic Intervention De-escalation Education required.
- Basic competency in age/disability/cultural diversity needs of patients served and ability to relate to patients in a manner sensitive to those needs.
