Your purpose:

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for the management and manipulation of structured data, reviewing trend analysis, performing normalization operations and assuring data quality. You will use business intelligence, query, analytic and statistical software to build solutions, perform root cause analysis and interpret data. 

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a healthcare setting, an advanced analytical skill set, and the ability to effectively communicate with business and technology leaders both internally and externally.

What you will be doing:

• Analyze large volumes of clinical lab data
• Employ various techniques to analyze large complex data sets:
  • Data manipulation, data mining, identifying data patterns
• Learn and apply relevant regulations to compile data sets
• Communicate results of analysis succinctly to data engineers and data scientists
• Prepare final analysis reports for stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends
• Filter Data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct code problems
• Develop and maintain databases, and data systems – reorganize data in a readable format
• Perform analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data
• Use statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets could be helpful for diagnosis and prediction

Your skills & experiences:

• A four year degree or equivalent work experience
• 2 years of experience in an analytic role in a health care setting or demonstrated experience in research, statistical analyses, quantitative and qualitative assessment
• Strong understanding of Relational Databases and Data Warehouses
• Experience with SQL and database desired
• Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to produce clear concise documentation that can be easily understood by internal and external clients
• Ability to employ critical thinking skills and work independently while also working well within a team environment
